Here’s how you can regain your hacked Twitter account

It’s never pleasant when you get hacked, especially on a platform like Twitter where a simple tweet can either give you valuable information or joy. This was my uncomfortable experience last night, but after hours of frustration and sheer will, I managed to regain access and control of my account. Here’s how!

Wondering how to calmly and swiftly regain control of your Twitter account? Well, Jamie says…

Here are the steps you should follow:

First step in regaining your twitter
Second step in regaining your twitter
Third step in regaining your twitter
Fourth step in regaining your twitter

The last step would be to indicate whether you still have access to the email address which was linked to the account prior to the hack, the country you’re located in, and then how you believe you got hacked. (Add screenshots after you select the option, it helps your case). Submit the info, verify you’re a human, and then wait. The whole process took roughly 6 hours once I gathered my marbles and composure, so you might want to stay patient.

Fifth step in regaining your twitter

Hope this goes a long way to helping you guys if you’re ever in a pickle!
