Ghana Tech Lab lights fuse with its inaugural breakfast meeting

Ghana Tech Lab

The Ghana Tech Lab recently held its maiden bi-monthly breakfast meeting at the Accra Digital Centre on the 29th of May, 2021; with yours truly among those honoured to have been in attendance. Here’s a little recap of what went down

What was the theme of this Ghana Tech Lab breakfast meeting? Jamie says…

The theme of the breakfast meeting, which is not only part of the National Acceleration Programme but also was ably supported by The Mastercard Foundation, Ghana’s Ministry of Communications, and The World Bank, was to enable “Success through Synergy”. And if I may say so, this was achieved admirably thanks to the interactive and engaging tone that was set by our hosts, who were wonderfully represented by both Ms. Betty Isliker, the business lead, and also their programs lead, Ms. Pamela Bortequaye!

What else happened at the breakfast meeting?

The breakfast meeting provided startups under their acceleration programme, such as PayRent Gh, Abukay’s cuisine, and Mushcart, as well as Mr Joli foods and also GADV (Gideon Agenyegah Dream Ventures) with the opportunity to inform the eager audience of their services and mission statement. It was also interesting to note, when the audience was grouped into 3 cells with the aim of suggesting ways to help push the vision of young entrepreneurs in the field, that we all faced similar challenges and offered suggestions along the same line of thought, an astute observation pointed out by motivational speaker Emmaline “Coach Ema” Datey!
